CognoShift offers annual SaaS subscriptions for CERT-In and DPDP compliance monitoring. All plans are billed annually in advance in Indian Rupees (INR).
Subscriptions begin on the date of successful payment and license key delivery. The subscription period is 365 days from activation.
Where a paid pilot or proof-of-concept engagement has been agreed in writing, the pilot fee is non-refundable once the license key has been delivered and the Sentinel agent has been deployed on at least one endpoint.
Pilot engagements include a 5-school (or equivalent) deployment covered under a separate Order Form or MoU.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings tab in your portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges are made.
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining unused portion of the annual subscription period. Access continues until the subscription expiry date.
Refunds are considered only in the following circumstances:
a) Duplicate payment: if the same subscription was charged twice due to a payment gateway error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
b) Service unavailability: if the CognoShift portal is inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours in any 30-day period due to causes within our control, you are entitled to a pro-rata credit for the affected days. This credit is applied to the next renewal and is not paid in cash.
c) Pre-deployment cancellation: if you cancel within 48 hours of purchase and have not yet activated the license key (i.e., no Sentinel agent has been deployed), you are entitled to a full refund. Requests must be submitted to billing@cognoshift.in within 48 hours of the payment timestamp.
No refunds are provided for change of mind, partial use, or unused features within an active subscription.
Orders placed via the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) are governed by the GeM Terms and Conditions and the applicable Purchase Order. Refunds for GeM orders follow GeM dispute resolution procedures.
Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) fees for multi-year government contracts are non-refundable once the contract period has commenced.
CERT-In Security Awareness Training vouchers are non-refundable once issued. Unused vouchers remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
If a voucher cannot be redeemed due to a platform error on our side, we will issue a replacement voucher of equal value.
Email billing@cognoshift.in with the subject line 'Refund Request — [your license key]'. Include your order ID, Razorpay payment ID, and the reason for the request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days. Refunds are made to the original payment method only.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact billing@cognoshift.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in immediate suspension of your account.
